Plain cake recipe without oven

Cake is literally a great dish for anytime.We eat cake in morning with tea, tiffin, afternoon or in the evening.Any type of party don’t go without cake.Cake is used as a good tiffin for children.Cake from shop may be unhygienic and may be in loss of nutrients.So if you can make cake at home,it’s truly a great thing.Today we will write about how to make plain cake.Let’s start :

Plain cake.


For making a medium sized cake that can meet up 2-3  person’s snacks,  you will need-

1.2 pieces of egg.

2. 1 cup sugar

3.1 cup oil ( normal soyabin or vegetable oil)

4.1 cup flour 

5.1 cup or less then 1 cup powder milk

6.1 teaspoon baking powder.

7.1 teaspoon vanilla essence. 


8.half cup milk

For making cake, you have to follow the 2 easy steps stated below.

1.make the batter for the cake.

Take a mixing bowl.Crack 2 egg and take it on the bowl.Beat it with a hand whisk or electric whisk.If you have none of these, you can use a spoon,but spoon will take more time for beating.

Then add 1 cup sugar on the egg, beat the mixture, mix the sugar and egg properly.Add 1 cup oil to the mixture.Beat the mixture until the sugar melts fully. Beating is a very important part of cake making. If you don’t beat the batter of cake,you will not get the perfect cake or even it won’t be a cake.So beat it carefully and perfectly.

Beat the mixture for 15-20 minutes.

Now move a little , take another bowl.Take 1 cup flour, 1 cup or less than 1 cup powder milk, 1 teaspoon baking powder on the bowl.Take them above a sieve and stir carefully, keep another bowl below the sieve.This process removes dust particles and hard molecules from the mixture.Any dust particles or large -hard molecules diminish the quality of cake and then cake won’t be soft or smooth properly.

After that this mixture of baking powder  flour and powdered milk is poured into the previous solution of egg, oil and sugar.

Take a small amount of second mixture, add slowly to the mixture of egg and stir them properly.Continue the process again and again until the whole of the second mixture gets mixed to the previous mixture.

Now beat them for a few minute.Make the mixture a smooth and perfect mixture.Now add half cup of liquid milk to the mixture slowly and stir them.Beat it again.Then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence to the mixture.Then beat the whole mixture again

Now the batter for the cake is ready.

2.Keep the batter on the stove for baking.

First of all take a round shaped  bowl with a large hollow.You can choose the bowl as you wish and what shape you will like for the cake.Then pour 1 tablespoon of oil into the bowl. Brush the inner surface of the bowl with the oil. 

Cut a baking paper according to the shape of the bowl.Attach the paper to the inner surface of the bowl.Then pour the batter of cake into the bowl.Fix the batter properly by moving a little. 

Now time to set the pan on the stove.Take a pan with a large hollow, set it on the pan.Heat the pan at low temperature.Set a stand on the pan. Cover the pan with a lid.Wait for 7 to 8 minutes to make the pan hot.This process is called free heat.

Then set the bowl with cake at the stand in the pan.Cover the pan with a lid,not the bowl of cake.Make sure that, pan is covered properly, there is no perforation of the pan and lid.Set up is complete. 

Then heat the pan at low temperature for about 40 to 45 minutes. It may take 1 hour also.After 45 minutes check the cake with a toothpick. Then again cover it.If the toothpick remains dry as before, it means the cake is ready, but if toothpicks become wet or ingredients attach to the toothpick, that means baking the cake fully needs more time.

So this was the process, your cake is ready. Take the bowl from the pan.Just touch the baking paper and pull it. Cake will come out from the bowl.Serve it as you like.

3.If you don’t have baking paper,then you can use normal paper instead of that.

4.Always keep the heating temperature low.

5.You can use any other flavour than vanilla if you want another flavour.
