Chicken cutlets

Chicken cutlet is a very famous food.It is delicious too.Normally chicken cutlets are taken  as snacks.It can be eaten in dinner too.It is one of the perfect dishes for serving guests. There are various types of cutlets.Today we will talk about chicken cutlets.Let’s know the recipe of this delicious dish.

Ingredients :

1.minced chiken -250g ( you have to use boneless chicken. If you take breast part of chicken,it will be better)

2.green chilli slices -3 teaspoons

3. 1 teaspoon of ginger -garlic paste

4.½ cup of onion slices or chopped onion

5.½ teaspoon of black pepper

6.1 teaspoon of salt

7.½ teaspoon of red chili powder

8.½ teaspoon of cumin seed powder 

9.½ teaspoon of garam masala powder 

10.½ teaspoon of turmeric powder

11.200 g of smashed potatoes 

12.2 tablespoon of chopped  coriander leaves

13.1 piece of egg

14.½ cup of bread crumbs

15. Oil (according to need)

All the ingredients are very available and they can be found in any kitchen. 

Let’s know the cooking method.

Take 200 g of fresh potatoes.Boil them properly.Then make smashed potatoes. Keep it aside.

Set a pan on the stove. Heat the pan on medium flame.Then pour 2 tablespoon of oil (soyabin or vegetable oil) into the pan.Then add ½ cup of onion slices( slice will be too small in shape) to the oil.Fry the onion for a few moments until they get soft.Stir them properly and don’t stop stirring.Then add 1 teaspoon of green chili slices (slices will be thin circular shaped),1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste.Then mix them with the onion properly. Fry all the ingredients for 1 to 2 minutes.Then add 250 g of minced chicken to the pan.Mix all the ingredients properly with a spatula or whatever you use.Fry them for 2 minutes, in the mean time stir them continuously. 

Now time to add black pepper powder. Add ½ teaspoon of black pepper powder and ½ teaspoon of salt to the ingredients in the pan.Then add ½ teaspoon of cumin seed powder, ½ teaspoon of red chilli powder, ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder and ½ teaspoon of garam masala powder. Mix all the ingredients properly and very carefully.

Then cover the pan with a lead. Now heat of stove will be medium low level.Wait for 10 to 12 minutes.In the mean time stir the ingredients in the pan 2 or 3 times.

After  12  minutes  open the lead. Stir the ingredients. Stop heating the pan.

Take a chicken curry in a bowl and keep  in room temperature for decreasing the temperature of the curry.After decreasing the temperature, add previously made smashed potatoes ,  2 teaspoon of green chili slices,½ teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoon of chopped coriander leaves. 

Mix all the ingredients properly with your hand.Mix it for a few minutes and make the dough for cutlets.

Now time to shape the cutlet.Make the shape of cutlets as you like.You can make triangular, rectangular or round shaped cutlets.Totally depends on you.

Now take ½ cup of bread crumbs on a flat plate.Take another small bowl. Crack one egg and keep it to the bowl.Add a littles salt to the egg.Beat the egg for a few moments. 

Time to wrap the cutlets.

Take one cutlet and sink it into the egg.Then take it to the bread crumbs.Roll the cutlets in the breadcrumbs.Make sure that break crumbs will get attached to all the surface of cutlets. Layer of breadcrumbs of cutlets won’t be too thin.Make layer slightly thick.

Now your chicken cutlet is ready to be fried. 

Set a pan on the stove.Heat it on medium flame. Pour oil according to need(one  surface of cutlet will be sunk into oil and the opposite will be free from oil , means oil will cover lower surface,won’t touch the upper surface of cutlets.Pour oil according to meet the criteria) 

Now add cutlets on the pan.Fry for a few minutes. Total fry will be on medium flame or heat. Fry all the cutlets untill they gets golden brown or reddish colour. When one surface takes brown colour, alter the surface. During  frying, alter cutlets or rotate them a few times.

When they look reddish, pick them up from oil. Place the cutlets on a tissue paper to remove extra oil.0vjK4bVW35hN8

Now time to serve.Serve cutlets when it is hot.

Decorations totally depends on you.You can decorate cutlets with coriander leaves, tomato sauce, tomato, cucumber, lemon slices, anything you wish.

Serve chicken cutlet with tomato sauce or mayonnaise. You can serve  it with any othe sauce you like.

If you want to store chicken cutlets, there is the way.

After rolling on the breadcrumbs, pick up the cutlets on a plate.Keep the plates in deep freezer for 1 to 2 hours.Then bring about the cutlets from deep freezer. Take them on a airtight box.Then store again in the deep freezer. 

You can store in the deep freezer in this way for about one month.When you will need to serve chicken cutlets, just put down from freezer and fry in the oil in the same way that stated above.
